The Italian Embassy Canberra will host the National Conference for Australian Teachers of Italian on 21 October 2017: ‘L’Italiano al Cinema, l’Italiano nel Cinema’.
The course is designed to provide teachers with a comprehensive understanding of the language used in cinema and the way cinema is used to portray Italian culture both nationally and to a broader international audience. International guest speaker Donata Puntil from King’s College, London, will be offering a practical workshop focusing on how to adapt, manipulate and use film clips within a second language acquisition context, providing guidance on planning and implementing lesson sequences.
This event has been TQI accredited for ACT teachers for 5 hours.
